Double Wedding Bands with Sapphires
Sometimes I just make the bands. This client had a beautiful engagement ring that didn't offer a wedding band to match. We came up with a plan to make double wedding bands so the rings would look balanced. Her mom had a ring she was no longer wearing and wanted to pass it on to the bride-to-be. I removed the sapphires from the heirloom ring and used six of them in these two bands. The bride chose a nautical rope style shank for her rings because her groom is in the NAVY.
